If I tell you I’m the heart and soul behind Marina Anaya Photography, I mean it’s so much more than just an artistic way to provide for my family.
My journey with photography began out of a desire to create and document those natural smiles that just happen when you’re with the people you love most. And photos became so much more important to me after my grandparents passed away. All I was left with were a few scattered memories from photos of them holding me as a little baby.
How I wished there were more. And now I try to document all those seemingly small moments and fill up memory drives + cloud storage with those happy smiles.
Even when they’re blurry. Even when dad refused to take off his cap. Even when baby wouldn’t stop crying.
Life is messy + chaotic and there’s still so much beauty in celebrating that.

Our personal family decision has been to maintain our children’s privacy on the internet as best as we can until they are old enough to make the decision for themselves.
